Attorney John Davie graduated from the University Of New Hampshire School Of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 2008. During law school, Attorney Davie was Notes & Comments Editor for IDEA: the Intellectual Property Law Review, and competed in two moot court competitions (the American Trial Lawyer’s Mock Trial Competition and the Willem C. Vis International Moot in Vienna, Austria.)
While in law school, Attorney Davie externed for the New Hampshire Attorney General and also studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, where he was twice selected to be a teaching assistant. He received his B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland where he majored in Political Science.
Prior to joining Martha Croog, LLC, Attorney Davie worked as a judicial research clerk for the Superior Courts in Stamford, New Haven and Bridgeport Connecticut judicial districts. He also worked as an attorney for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, where he assisted in the litigation of cases in the United States District Court and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Attorney Davie is a member of the bars for the State of Connecticut, the State of New York, and the District of Columbia.
